CABINET SHIELD

Fire Suppression System Using Novec 1230™

SYSTEM OVERVIEW

The Cabinet Shield system is engineered for fire suppression in small, unoccupied, and defined-volume enclosures. It utilizes an integrated, single-method system for both detection and extinguishing agent delivery, ensuring immediate and localized suppression of fire at its source.

The system comprises a cylinder containing Novec 1230™ clean agent and specialized linear heat detection tubing. When exposed to elevated temperatures, the tubing ruptures at the hottest point, discharging the clean agent precisely where it’s needed.

Furthermore, Cabinet Shield can be integrated with a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), allowing fire events to be signalled and monitored as part of a centralized fire detection and alarm system.
